The Gum Trees

the farmstay

Situated in Mount Barker, WA and close to the magnificant Stirling Ranges, our farmstay is ready for you to relax, unwind and explore the surrounding area, wild flowers and local wineries. Our farmstay has been approved by the Shire and the Department of Fire and Emergency (DFES).

This farm house has a bull nose verandah where people can sit, read, chat, watch the sheep and chooks graze, birds bath or listen to music, a BBQ is also on the verandah. Inside are two queen size bedrooms one with a single bed in it for a young person, and one with a cot and change table. Also there is a double bed room and one single bedroom, all have everything you need in them, including electric blankets.

You can bring dogs to the property, as the yard is fully fenced. However, because it's a working farm, dogs taken outside the house yard must be kept on a lead. Parents should also be aware that there are dams on the property, however, the house is well fenced off from the dams.

This farm stay has everything you need, so you only need to bring your food.
